Office Configurations

1. The Typical Cubicle

This is how the majority of workstations are set up. They provide ample desk and storage space and offer a lot of privacy. They can come in many different sizes but the layout is basically the same.

2. Call Center and Telemarket Station

The call center cubicle is designed for maximum employee per square foot density. Really Cramming a lot of people into a small space! Whee!

Only kidding, this design is very versatile and has a number of uses- Sales People, Telemarketers, Customer Service, Hoteling Stations, etc.

3. Manager's Station

This type of station is suited for employees who need privacy and the ability to meet with other workers.

4. Reception Stations

This is my favorite workstation, because there's usually a bowl of candy on the counter top in most offices :-)

This style has a lot of versality and many uses including Secretarial and Clerical.

5. Bull Pen Station

This configuration is great for teams that have to communicate and collaborate often. There are several variations on this design. I am not sure where the name comes from, but I like saying it, Bull Pen.

6. High-Low Cubicle

This is a variation of the "Typical Cubicle", it is very popular these days and it may inspire you. This design allows for some privacy but the mid-height dividing partitions make for easy communication between workers.
