Reception Stations

The reception style station varies from other stations with its low walls and transaction counters. This design can be used in many circumstances.

The low walls allow the occupant to have an unimpeded view of the surrounding area such as the front door or lobby area. These also make nice secretarial workstations- The boss can step out side his office and plop down stacks of work for you to complete right on top of the transaction counter, and he doesn't even have to bend over :-)

The images on the right show a Hi-Low configuration, but they can also be built with all short walls.

Design Notes- Standard partition height for a reception station is from 40" to 48". Shorter walls can also be used if you need an "ADA Height" counter, 32"-35" in height.
